Full Automation of Fulfillment Invoicing Including Shipping Costs, Activities, and Margin

Goal:
Develop a system that automatically collects, calculates, and generates invoices for all costs of a fulfillment company per customer. This includes:

Pick & Pack activities
Storage (warehousing)
Inbound (receiving)
Shipping costs per carrier (UPS, FedEx, DHL, PostNL, Asendia, Royal Mail) – to be connected via API for automatic cost retrieval

Objective: Generate comprehensive customer-specific overviews and invoices automatically. Here’s what I need built:

The core workflow
• Collect activity data for pick & pack, storage, and inbound receipts from our WMS (an export feed is already available).
• Query UPS, FedEx, and DHL via their published REST APIs to pull the exact shipping charges that match each tracking number. If you can architect this so additional carriers, etc.—can be added later with minimal effort, that’s a plus.
• Combine everything, apply our configurable margin rules, and calculate line-item costs automatically.
• Generate a per-customer overview (monthly and on-demand) and a PDF / CSV invoice that can be pushed to our accounting package or emailed directly." (client-provided description)
