Budget: Recommended by industry experts
Time to start: As soon as possible
Project description:
"I want a lightweight Android APK that embeds its own Accessibility Service to pick up available shifts in my work-related scheduling app (the official app has no public API). The goal is simple: as soon as a new shift appears, the service taps through the mobile UI and finalises the selection for me—nothing else.
You will receive sample credentials plus screen recordings so you can map the exact view hierarchy. Build in Kotlin or Java, target at least Android 10, and keep the footprint small. The service should request only the Accessibility permission, start quietly at boot, and run reliably in the background without battery-killer wakeups.
Deliverables
• Signed debug APK ready to side-load
• Full source code with clear comments
• README covering how to build, install, grant the Accessibility permission, and change package name/signing keys
Acceptance criteria
• On a test device the service detects an available shift and performs the complete “shift selection” flow within two seconds, with no accidental taps or crashes
• Works consistently across two common Android skins (I can supply test devices)
• Code passes a quick review for proper Accessibility API use and avoids prohibited gestures, ensuring Play-Store compliance should I later publish privately" (client-provided description)
