About Abodely
Abodely is a next-generation prop-tech platform designed to revolutionise how real estate is discovered, shared, and transacted. Our platform brings buyers, sellers, and agents together to unlock the off-market property market – the hidden side of real estate where the best opportunities live.
We’ve built a fully functional mobile and web app, established social channels, and an initial user base. Now, we’re ready to scale fast, and we’re looking for the right technology leader to take Abodely to the next level.
The Role
We’re seeking a visionary CTO and true business partner, not just a developer for hire.
You will lead all aspects of technology and product, shaping strategy, scaling the platform, and building a team around you over time.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives on ownership, creativity, and solving complex problems in a fast-growing startup. You’ll have significant equity and a seat at the table as we grow Abodely into a market-leading prop-tech business.
Key Responsibilities:
Own the technical roadmap, architecture, and delivery of the Abodely platform
Scale our existing apps and infrastructure for rapid growth and reliability
Build and lead a high-performing engineering team over time
Drive innovation and customer-centric product design
Collaborate closely with the CEO and co-founders on strategy, fundraising, and partnerships
Ensure security, compliance, and data integrity across the platform
What We’re Looking For
You’re more than a developer – you’re a strategic technologist and entrepreneurial thinker who wants to build something meaningful.
Must Haves:
Proven experience building and scaling mobile and web apps (React Native, Flutter, Node.js, AWS or similar)
Strong understanding of full-stack development, integrations, and APIs
Experience with startups or high-growth environments
Desire to own the tech vision and execution, not just deliver code
Willingness to take equity in place of salary initially
Bonus Skills:
Experience in prop-tech, marketplaces, or real estate platforms
Previous leadership of tech teams or startups
Knowledge of growth hacking and product analytics
