Project description:
"I need a small, clean website where I can upload and stream my educational videos without worrying that learners will simply hit a screen-record button and grab the content. The core of the build is solid DRM protection—Widevine, FairPlay, PlayReady or another standards-based approach that blocks ordinary screen-recording tools at the OS level and delivers adaptive-bitrate streaming.
Visitors must create an account and sign in before they can view anything, so a straightforward user-registration and authentication flow (email/password or social login) is essential. Once authenticated, users should land on a simple dashboard listing the courses they have access to; clicking a course opens the embedded player that carries the DRM-wrapped stream.
Key deliverables
• Fully responsive front-end with the player embedded and styled to match a minimalist educational theme
• Back-end or SaaS video pipeline that ingests MP4, wraps it in DRM, and outputs the necessary licence keys for the player
• Secure user table, hashed passwords, and a short admin panel where I can upload new videos and assign access rights
• Clear deployment instructions and hand-off documentation so I can maintain and grow the site myself
If you have previous experience implementing Widevine or a comparable DRM solution inside React, Vue, or plain HTML5/JavaScript and can demonstrate that the protection actually blocks common screen-record utilities, let’s talk." (client-provided description)
