"At GrowEdge Digital I will pair you with corporate and business clients that need new or rebuilt WordPress sites. The day-to-day work centres on planning, building and maintaining full sites, then extending them with custom plugins, tight theme customisation and solid on-page SEO so our ads and content teams can scale traffic without friction.

What you will handle
– Spin up clean, responsive WordPress installs, map the information architecture and apply a corporate style guide that we supply.
– Develop or adapt bespoke plugins when a client needs functionality that core WordPress or common extensions cannot cover.
– Optimise every page for speed, schema and keyword targets our SEO team provides.
– Keep the site secure, backed up and fully updated; when we hand it to the client, everything must be production-ready.

You will work remotely on your own laptop and schedule, as long as milestones are met. Every completed project can be referenced in your personal portfolio, and successful collaboration often leads to long-term retainer work inside GrowEdge Digital.

Deliverables (per project)
1. Fully deployed WordPress site on the client’s hosting, including theme customisation.
2. Any custom plugins or child themes with well-commented code.
3. On-page SEO setup: meta, schema, caching and performance scores above 90 on PageSpeed Insights.
4. Handover package: admin credentials, documentation, backup file and launch checklist.
