"I’m the CTO of a fast-growing tech company headquartered in Japan, and our engineering roadmap is expanding faster than our current hiring capacity. To keep pace I’m looking for a Recruitment Specialist who can own the end-to-end hiring cycle for software-development roles. You’ll work closely with me and the heads of engineering to translate skill gaps into clear requisitions, source globally, and guide candidates through a smooth, engaging process.
Although the positions you’ll fill are based in Japan, our culture is deliberately international. I welcome collaborators from Europe and the Americas who are comfortable operating across time zones and who can articulate our mission to candidates just as well in a late-evening Tokyo call as in an early-morning Berlin one.
Day-to-day you’ll:
• Draft compelling job ads for backend, frontend and full-stack engineers, then publish them through LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub Jobs, and niche developer communities.
• Build and maintain a high-quality pipeline, screening for both technical excellence and cultural fit.
• Coordinate interviews, relay feedback, and keep every applicant informed—our brand experience matters.
• Track progress in our ATS (Greenhouse) and deliver weekly metrics so we can iterate quickly.
Success looks like a shortlist of vetted, interview-ready software-development candidates landing in my inbox each week, culminating in at least two signed offers per month for the next quarter.
