"My travel blog needs a full refresh that keeps the search rankings intact while bringing the user experience up to today’s standards.

First, every broken link, console error, or nagging bug has to go. I’ll rely on you to audit the entire codebase, pinpoint the culprits, and patch them so no 404s or PHP warnings slip through. While you’re in there, please optimise performance—trim unused scripts, set proper caching, and make sure mobile Core Web Vitals pass comfortably. Fast load times and smooth navigation are non-negotiable.

Next, I’m removing dates from all post URLs. I’ll supply the redirection map, and you’ll implement the new permalink structure, handle 301s, and double-check Google Search Console so traffic doesn’t dip.

The homepage is ready for a complete facelift. I’ll share reference sites, but in short I want:
• a fresh layout that highlights destination guides and latest posts,
• an updated colour scheme that feels modern yet adventurous, and
• smarter content arrangement so visitors instantly see where to click next.

Elementor or Gutenberg is fine—whichever delivers clean, lightweight markup. Once the design is live, test it across desktop, tablet, and phone, clear any CLS shifts, and verify that the main menu remains intuitive.

Final hand-over includes:
• a changelog of fixes and speed gains,
• the redirect list you applied,
• new theme or child-theme files, and
• a quick Loom walkthrough so I’m comfortable managing future tweaks.

If custom PHP tweaks, CSS refactoring, or plugin conflicts crop up, please resolve them as part of the engagement rather than pushing them to a later phase. I welcome creative input, but the end result must feel unmistakably “travel” and function flawlessly." (client-provided description)
