"I run a WordPress + WooCommerce store and have installed the Tap Payments for WooCommerce plugin from the official GitHub repository. Everything is almost ready to go live, yet the integration is breaking at the webhook step: Tap’s “Order Updated” webhook keeps returning HTTP 500. After checking their docs and my server logs I’m convinced the failure happens during Tap’s signature-verification step, so the callback never reaches WooCommerce and orders stay stuck in “pending” status.

What I need, as soon as possible, is a developer who knows WooCommerce payment-gateway internals and can dive into Tap’s API/webhook flow to:

• Trace and eliminate the 500 error, confirming the HMAC signature is being built and validated exactly as Tap expects.
• Make sure the Delivery URL is reachable over HTTPS, with the correct TLS configuration, so Tap’s retries stop failing.
• Run end-to-end tests (Test Mode and Live Mode) to prove that order status, stock reduction, and customer e-mails update automatically after a successful charge.
• Review the plugin’s inline / popup UI settings just in case any remaining front-end glitches appear once the webhook issue is fixed.
