"I have a Ubiquiti U6-LR (v1 hardware) running OpenWRT and I need the stock LuCI interface adapted to match the workflow described in my attached spec. In short, a few labels must be renamed, several drop-down selections changed to my preferred defaults, and some advanced fields removed from view so end-users only see what they actually need. The back-end behaviour itself stays the same; this is almost entirely a presentation-layer job, but it still has to be delivered as a fully flashable firmware image that boots cleanly on the device.

You’ll be working directly in the usual OpenWRT buildroot, so solid experience with LuCI, BusyBox, UCI, and the U-Boot upgrade process is essential. I also expect you to test the image on comparable hardware (or in an x86 testbed plus sysupgrade) before handing it over.

Deliverables
• Patched source tree (Git diff or full repo)
• Compiled .bin ready for sysupgrade on U6-LR v1
• Quick README that lists the exact files touched, build commands, and rollback steps

Acceptance will be based on the firmware flashing without errors, the GUI reflecting every change in the spec, and no loss of the device’s wireless performance or security settings. SSH access and recovery console must remain intact.
