Project description:
"I’m putting together a small demo that can churn out realistic-looking, fully Luhn-compliant credit-card details so I can stress-test our payment stack from end to end. The goal is to hit three angles at once: confirm transaction processing behaves as expected, double-check that logging and tokenisation keep security tight, and prove the gateway stays happy when it sees different card brands.

The generator has to cover Visa, Mastercard and American Express—not just one of them—so I can flip between networks in my automated scripts. I’d like a simple web page for quick manual checks plus a REST/JSON endpoint my test suite can call to pull fresh numbers, expiry dates and CVV codes on demand.

Deliverables
• Working source that builds and runs locally (Python, Node.js or another mainstream stack is fine)
• Generation logic for Visa, Mastercard and AmEx, with clear spots to add more BIN ranges later
• A minimal test suite proving every number passes the Luhn check and is accepted by at least one sandbox gateway (Stripe, Braintree or similar)
• README with setup steps and example requests/responses

I’ll consider the job done once I can clone the repo, start the service with a single command, and retrieve 50+ unique cards per brand through both the UI and the API without duplication.
