"I need a lightweight yet robust mobile application whose single purpose is to let people book music lessons without emailing or calling us. A student should be able to browse teachers, view real-time availability, reserve a slot, pay, and receive reminders. Teachers must have a synced calendar view that reflects any new, rescheduled, or cancelled lesson instantly.

Although the very first release will centre on one-on-one lessons, I’d like the underlying structure left open so group sessions can be switched on later with minimal refactor. A small profile for each teacher (instrument, level, short bio, rate) will help students decide quickly. Stripe, Apple Pay, or Google Pay are acceptable options for checkout; I’m happy to hear which gateway integrates cleanly with the stack you prefer.


Deliverables
• Source code pushed to our private Git repository, clearly commented
• Build-ready iOS and Android apps (TestFlight / APK)
• Simple web admin panel to manage teachers, availability, bookings, and refunds
• Concise hand-off documentation and a recorded walk-through of the booking flow

Acceptance criteria: A first-time user on a mid-range phone can install, sign up, pick a teacher, choose an open slot, pay, and receive confirmation in under three minutes; the teacher’s calendar shows the booking instantly.
