"I want to launch a straightforward online platform that lets anyone building or renovating a home quickly find and compare every type of local supplier they might need—from heavy-duty steel stockists right through to interior-design showrooms and tool hire outlets. The core purpose is simple: connecting builders to suppliers in their own region and giving them an easy way to line-up products, pricing, and availability in one place.

Here is the experience I’m aiming for:

• A visitor enters their location, selects the category they need—steel and other structural materials, finishing and interior products, tools, equipment, or any other construction material—and instantly sees nearby shops that stock those items.
• Each supplier manages its own profile, inventory list, and prices; builders can place items side-by-side to compare cost, delivery time, and basic specs before deciding who to contact or order from.
• Results must be filterable by distance, price range, rating, and product availability.
. The supplier must have an option to retarget the customer with video or photo if required with a single click which will be done through website
Key functions I need built:

1. Dual account system (builder / supplier) with secure signup and dashboard.
2. Supplier catalogue manager: bulk product upload, photo gallery, price fields, stock status.
3. Geo-location search that ranks suppliers by proximity.
4. Price-comparison module that lets users select up to four suppliers and view a clear, line-item comparison.
5. Messaging or enquiry form so builders can request quotes or confirm stock directly.
6. Responsive web interface (mobile-first), ready for a future mobile app wrapper.
7. Clean admin panel for me to approve suppliers and monitor listings.

Acceptance criteria for hand-off:

• Fully functional staging site, user-tested with at least three dummy supplier accounts and sample products.
• Source code (React / Vue / Angular front end + Node.js / Laravel / Django back end—your choice, but documented).
• Documentation covering deployment, environment variables, and basic maintenance steps.
• Brief video or live call walkthrough showing all core flows working: sign-up, search, compare, and contact.
