Job Brief: UX Wireframes for Automotive Companion App + Display
Scope (paid trial project):
We need clear, low-fidelity wireframes for a hardware-linked app and on-device UI. Think of it like a digital dashboard plus mobile companion app. The goal is to define the core user flows and layouts in a way that’s practical, testable, and easy to hand over to developers later.
What you’ll do:
• Review a few public competitor dashboards/apps (examples will be provided privately).
• Create a short feature list based on what’s common and what stands out.
• Produce wireframes (Figma or similar) for:
• On-device display (landscape, 1920×720).
• Mobile app (portrait, dark theme).
Screens required (for trial):
• On-device:
1. Track HUD (speed, RPM, gauges, alarm banner).
2. Theme/Display Picker.
• Mobile:
3. Setup flow (BLE pairing, layout selection).
4. Logging/Recording screen.
5. Data session summary.
Wireframe requirements:
• Clear layouts with labels (no need for hi-fi visuals).
• Each screen annotated with:
• Purpose (why it exists).
• Primary actions.
• Must-have widgets/components.
• Error/fallback states (e.g., no data, failed connection).
• Usability notes (e.g., minimum font size, large touch targets, day/night support).
Deliverables:
• Competitor feature matrix (simple table format).
• Clickable wireframes for 5–6 screens.
• One-page notes on usability + rationale.
Expectations:
• Experience in UX wireframing for apps or embedded displays.
• Ability to be concise and practical — no bloated reports.
• Delivery within about 1 week.
Important:
This is a paid trial project. Multiple freelancers may be engaged for the same brief. The best results may lead to a longer engagement for the full UX/UI system." (client-provided description)
