Project description:
"I want to release a simple yet engaging Android APK that lets my mobile-repair students connect, chat, and exchange learning materials without either of us paying monthly fees for servers or APIs. The core idea is a lightweight social platform—think “mini Facebook for technicians”—where users can create a profile, start discussions, share repair guides, and message one another in real time.

Key features I need built in:
• Social networking foundation with sign-up / sign-in
• One-to-one and group messaging & chatting
• Content sharing of text posts, photos, short videos and PDF manuals

Because the budget is capped at about 1,500, every element—from authentication to storage and push notifications—has to rely on free-tier services or open-source alternatives (Firebase Spark plan, Supabase, or any similarly cost-free stack you trust). The final APK should be fully functional and ready for me to publish or sideload for my class, with clear documentation so I can manage the back-end myself.

Deliverables I expect:
1. Complete Android Studio project with clean, well-commented code
