Project description:
"I need support extending the MS Dynamics 365 Commerce Retail SDK so my in-house application can create sales orders directly in the Commerce channel database. The scope is tightly focused on the Sales Transactions area—specifically Order Processing, and within that, the ability to perform Order Creation programmatically.

You will work inside a sandbox environment that already runs Commerce Scale Unit and HQ. I will expose the relevant parts of our internal app (REST endpoints and data contracts) and expect you to build the necessary Commerce runtime extension or custom service that receives an order payload from us, validates it, and persists it as a sales order that is visible in POS and HQ.

Key considerations
• Follow Microsoft’s Retail SDK extension guidelines so the solution survives future updates.
• Use the Commerce runtime/CRT pipeline rather than direct SQL.
• Error handling and clear status responses (success, duplicate, validation failure) must be returned to our API.
• Provide concise deployment instructions so we can replicate the build in UAT and production.

Deliverables
- Compiled DLLs or extension package ready for deployment
- Source code (C#, Retail SDK structure) in our Azure DevOps repo
- Postman or Swagger collection showing sample calls and expected responses
- One-page deployment & rollback guide
