"I need a slim, web-based CRM that my five-person sales team (plus one admin) can access from any browser on our own server. The tool must capture enquiries, contact information, project history, and every little preference or note we collect, then keep each enquiry moving through a clear pipeline until a PDF estimate is emailed out.

Core modules
• Customer database holding contact information, project history, and preferences/notes
• Visual enquiry board to track progress and forecast value
• Estimate generator that produces branded PDFs and sends them via our SMTP, logging the activity automatically
• Reports for Manager should be available.

Scope boundaries
I do not want accounting, invoicing, or other back-office features—just the elements above, polished and secure. A lightly customised fork of an open-source stack (think trimmed-down Odoo or something Laravel-based) is fine, provided the workflow matches our three-stage sales process and the interface shows only what we need.

User roles
• Admin: full control over settings, users, and data
• Sales reps (5): create / edit their own leads, issue estimates, view only their records

Deployment
I will provide either a cPanel or VPS. It should be installed on it.

Budget & timing
My ceiling is US $500, so lean code and smart reuse are essential. Aim to hand over a fully working system—code, database schema, and install guide—within two weeks.
