About Cardly: Cardly is not a complex CRM like Salesforce. It is a simple, efficient tool for users to capture and manage leads directly within their Google environment. The core purpose is to make lead onboarding as simple as filling out a web form (served by Apps Script), ensuring no contact is ever lost.
Key Responsibilities:
Environment Setup:
Create the specific Google Drive folder structure as defined in the blueprint (e.g., Cardly_Master_Project, Cardly_Master_Users, Cardly_Master_Admin).
Set up the core Google Sheets that will function as the system's database, including Cardly_Pending_Sync (the processing queue) and Cardly_Master_Audit_Log.
Backend Development (in [login to view URL]):
Implement the user onboarding workflow: automatically create a dedicated folder and sheet for each new user upon signup.
Develop the core queue processing logic (processPendingQueue) that runs every 5 minutes to handle new contacts.
Build the deduplication engine to check for existing contacts (by phone or email) and merge data without creating duplicates.
Integrate with Google APIs: Sheets, Drive, People API (Contacts), and Calendar API for syncing.
Implement a comprehensive audit logging function (logAudit) that records every system action (success or failure) for compliance and traceability.
