"I have an existing React Native 0.72 project that must stay on that version yet pass a strict 16 KB page-size cap. All the current dependencies—most visibly react-native-video plus a handful of other standard modules—must remain intact, so the task is purely about squeezing every unnecessary byte out of the code and library footprint rather than removing packages.

You will connect exclusively through remote desktop (TeamViewer or AnyDesk, whichever you prefer) and work inside my machine. The focus is on code-level, bundler-level, and build-time techniques that keep the final JavaScript bundle and any generated native pages under the 16 KB ceiling. Think along the lines of aggressive tree-shaking, Hermes optimizations, inline-requires, Metro config tuning, ProGuard/R8 rules for the Android side, and comparable strip-settings for iOS.

Deliverables
• Updated project that builds release APK/IPA whose relevant pages measure ≤ 16 KB each, verified on my machine during the session.
• Brief change log noting every config or code adjustment so I can reproduce the result later.
