Project description:
"I already have an Android mobile app in production, and the objective is to improve the existing project rather than start over. The current build shows a few rough edges—occasional performance hiccups, dated UI elements, and minor crashes—that I want cleaned up so the user experience feels fast, stable, and modern.

Once we begin I’ll give you full access to the Git repository, the current issue tracker, and testing credentials. You’ll review the codebase, suggest practical upgrades (Jetpack, Material components, modern APIs where sensible), then implement, test, and document each change.

Deliverables
• Refactored, well-commented source code committed back to the repo
• Resolved crashes, ANRs, and noticeable slowdowns verified on Android 8-14
• Polished UI aligned with current Material guidelines
• Release-ready AAB/APK plus concise release notes

Acceptance criteria are straightforward: the updated build must compile cleanly in the latest Android Studio, pass our in-house QA with zero critical crashes, and show clear performance gains on common devices.
