Project description:
"The core Spring Boot back-end and most of the React logic for my Box Calculator are already in place, but the interface still feels unfinished. I have a full set of brand style guidelines (colors, spacing, typography) and I’d like the front-end polished so the app looks and behaves like a production product on both desktop and mobile screens.
You will receive:
• the Git repository (React front-end + Spring Boot API)
• the style-guide PDF and component examples
• a short loom video walking through the current build and pain points
Scope of work
1. Apply my style guidelines to every existing screen, refining layout, spacing and overall look.
2. Replace the ad-hoc CSS with a clean, maintainable approach (plain CSS, CSS Modules, Styled-Components or Tailwind — pick what you’re fastest with).
3. Make each page fully responsive down to 360 px width.
4. Tidy up minor visual glitches (mis-aligned labels, overflow issues, inconsistent font sizing).
5. Ensure all inputs, buttons and alerts follow an accessible color contrast ratio (WCAG AA as a minimum).
6. Hand back a pull request that builds with `npm run build` and shows no new ESLint or React warnings.
Acceptance criteria
• Screens render correctly in Chrome, Firefox and mobile Safari.
• Lighthouse mobile score ≥ 90 for “Best Practices” and “Accessibility”.
• No layout breaks when users test resizing or rotate devices.
If you’ve styled React apps before and enjoy turning rough layouts into crisp, responsive UIs, this should be a straightforward, well-defined task. I’m ready to merge as soon as the PR passes review." (client-provided description)
