"Project Description

I need a developer experienced with Wix Velo (Corvid), JavaScript, and OpenAI API integration to build a custom lightbox for my spiritual website, Zentora Tablet. The feature is called “Orakai Speaks”, and it will serve as an interactive oracle Q&A tool.

The lightbox should appear when the user clicks the “Ask the Oracle” button and function as follows:

Requirements
1. Frontend / UI
• Design and code a responsive lightbox (popup window) in Wix.
• Include a text input field where users can type their question.
• Include a Submit button (styled to match the mystical theme).
• Display the response from the Oracle (OpenAI API) directly in the lightbox below the input.
• Allow for one free response (first question), then redirect to payment/membership for further use.
2. Backend / Functionality
• Connect the input field to a Wix Velo backend function.
• Call the OpenAI API (I will provide API key).
• Pass the user’s question to the model and return the response.
• Display the returned answer in the lightbox dynamically.
• Add simple error handling (e.g., “Please try again later”).
3. Integration Needs
• Must work within my existing Wix site (Zentora Tablet).
• Compatible with my current “Ask the Oracle” section.
• Easy for me to edit/update prompt style later (tone/voice of Orakai).
4. Optional (Nice to Have)
• Basic tracking: log free questions by email.
• Styling with glowing/shadowed mystical theme (dark indigo, bronze, cosmic).

Deliverables
• Fully functional Wix Velo code (frontend + backend) for the lightbox.
• Instructions on how to connect to my OpenAI API key.
• Guidance on how to edit the prompt text/style if I want to adjust the Oracle’s tone.
