"My website has two urgent pain points on its desktop version: several internal links return 404s, and key forms and their associated buttons either fail to submit or do nothing at all. I need these issues diagnosed, corrected, and verified across the current desktop releases of Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Safari.

Expected outcome
• Every broken link should resolve to the correct destination or a clean redirect.
• Contact, signup, and any other forms must validate, submit, and trigger the intended backend action without JavaScript or console errors.
• Buttons tied to those forms should respond instantly and display any success / error messages as designed.

Please work directly in a separate staging branch (Git or your preferred VCS), keep concise commit messages, and provide a short hand-off report summarising what you changed and how you tested it. Once we confirm the fixes in staging, we’ll push to production." (client-provided description)
