I’m expanding the development capacity of our ERP product team and need a senior-level technical consultant who can work full time from home. The core of the job is pure software development: designing, coding, test, release & support D365 FO implementations and deploying new features and integrations for our ERP.

Hands-on mastery of X++ is essential because most of our customization and extension work is written in that language.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design the technical architecture of the D365 F&O solution, considering factors like scalability, security, and performance. This includes defining integration points, data conversion strategies, and extension development plans.
• Design and develop core Dynamics 365 FO apps.
• Create, design, and modify reports in Dynamics 365 F&O.
• Design, code, test, release, and support D365 FO implementations.
• Convert functional requirements to technical specifications and design documents.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for D365 F&O solutions.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor other team members.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest D365 FO updates and technologies.

Technical Skills:
• Candidate should have 8+ years of relevant experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365 FO) or its predecessor, Dynamics AX.
• Must have very strong X++ coding skills and OOPs concepts.
• Graduation in B.Sc., BE/[login to view URL] in CS/IT or M. Tech or MCA.
• Strong understanding of D365 FO architecture, modules, and functionalities.
• Preferably Microsoft Dynamics AX/D365 certifications;
• Experience working on full life cycle implementations across multiple versions of Dynamics AX/FO.
• Proven experience in designing, developing, and implementing D365 FO customizations using X++
• Proficiency in RDLC report development and SQL Server database.
• Ability to create, design, and modify reports in Dynamics 365 FO and AX.
• Experience with technical design, development, and testing of core Dynamics 365 FO apps.
• Understanding of Life Cycle Services and Microsoft Sure Step implementation methodology.
• Ability to make technical recommendations for installation, modifications, and custom development.
• Experience working on implementation or/and post implementation support model.
• Design and implement D365 Integration Solutions using ODATA, REST APIs, Power Platform, and Azure Services.
• Troubleshoot integration failures, performance bottlenecks, and ensure data consistency.
• Conduct performance tuning and troubleshooting of custom code and processes.
• Lead code reviews, ensure adherence to best practices and development standards.
• Document integration designs and provide technical leadership on integration architecture.
• Work closely with functional and technical teams across environments.
• Team Foundation Server, Visual Studio Team Services or equivalent source control system.

Additional Skills:-
• Experience with data migration and integration.
• Experience with D365 FO Business Process Management (BPM) and Lifecycle Services (LCS).
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
• Experience with Power Platform tools like Power BI and Power Automate.
