"I need a full-featured news portal built with PHP and MySQL. The front end should follow a Modern (like a blog) layout so stories flow chronologically with eye-catching thumbnails and a clean reading experience on desktop and mobile alike.

Core features
• Admin Panel – the single control centre where I can publish, edit, delete or schedule articles, mark any story as “Breaking”, upload images, and manage comments.
• User Management – only two roles for now: Admin and Regular User. Regular Users create an account, log in, manage their profile and comment on posts; all publishing rights stay with Admin.
• Categories – the system must let me add, rename or remove unlimited categories on the fly so every type of news (sports, politics, entertainment, or anything else that comes up) can be organised without code changes.
• Headlines & Breaking News – configurable ticker or banner that pulls the latest flagged stories automatically.
• Secure Login / Registration – password hashing, email validation and basic rate-limit protection.
• Responsive design, SEO-ready URLs, simple search box and pagination.
