"I have an iOS-only React Native project running under the latest Expo SDK that needs a quick but clean round of fixes.

1. Firebase image upload
Right now the image never reaches storage—no progress events, no errors in the console, just silence. I need the upload flow restored, the download URL returned, and the rendered image verified on the target screen. I’m using Firebase v9 modular APIs and the Expo ImagePicker.

2. Sidebar implementation
A new slide-in sidebar has been wired into React Navigation, but the moment I enable it the app crashes on iOS. I need the sidebar added and fully stable, with gesture support and safe-area awareness.

3. Date picker
The date picker simply doesn’t open at all. Whether it’s the Expo DateTimePicker or a third-party component, I just need a reliable, native-feeling selector that returns an ISO string.

Deliverables
• Push-ready Git commit(s) fixing the three issues
• Brief note explaining what was changed and any new packages added
• Confirmation video or screenshots of each feature working on an iOS simulator (or real device)
