Project description:
"We are the marketing division of a consulting company, and we are looking to develop a professional Progressive Web App (PWA) that will be used internally to evaluate the financial viability of consulting and IT projects.

The purpose of the tool is simple: our managers should be able to quickly test different “what-if” scenarios before starting a project and instantly see whether it will be profitable.

The application can be based on a Figma mockup that we have already prepared but it is not mandatory.

The workflow is straightforward: managers enter the expected project duration (in days) and then select the consultants required for the project.
We use four consultant roles, each with its own annual salary (variable cost) and fixed cost:
Strategy Consultant (€27,000/year + €500 fixed)
Senior Strategy Consultant (€40,000/year + €1,000 fixed)
IT Consultant (€24,000/year + €500 fixed)
Senior IT Consultant (€37,000/year + €1,000 fixed)


The application must calculate the daily cost per consultant by dividing the annual salary by 220 working days. Based on the number of consultants assigned and the number of days they work, the total cost per role should be calculated as:
(Daily variable cost × number of days × number of consultants) + (Fixed cost × number of consultants)

All roles are then summed up to provide the total project cost.


Next, managers will input a potential sales price. The app must compare this with the total cost and display:
Revenues
Costs

Profit = Revenues – Costs
Profitability margin = (Revenues – Costs) / Revenues × 100


The tool must also allow managers to save project scenarios. A user should be able to view previously saved projects, re-open them to review details, and optionally delete or edit them. For simplicity, storing this information in local browser storage is sufficient.

The final result must be a fully functional Progressive Web App with reliable calculations, a professional interface based on our Figma design, and seamless performance on both desktop and mobile devices.

Deadline: 20 days
Budget: €44 (total)

We propose splitting the payment into two milestones:
50% upon delivery of a working prototype (project duration input, consultant selection, and cost calculation).

50% upon final delivery (profitability analysis, save/view feature, completed UI/UX, and documentation).



Requirements for the Developer
The ideal freelancer should have experience developing Progressive Web Apps, implementing business or financial calculation tools, and working from Figma mockups to produce a professional, responsive UI. Accuracy, reliability, and attention to detail are critical, since this application will be used to support real business decisions.


Terms & Conditions
Ownership: Upon final payment, all source code, design, and deliverables will become the exclusive property of our company. The freelancer may not reuse or resell the code without permission.

Payments: Payments will be released in two milestones. No upfront payments.

Revisions: Reasonable revisions are expected until the application matches the provided Figma mockup and requirements. Major changes outside of scope will require agreement on additional costs.

Deadline: The application must be delivered within 20 days. Any delays must be communicated in advance.

Quality: The freelancer is responsible for delivering accurate financial calculations, a professional interface, and responsive PWA functionality.

Support: Basic support for setup, deployment, and usage instructions is required after delivery.


Additional Expectations
Testing: The freelancer must thoroughly test all financial calculations and ensure consistent results across devices and browsers before delivery.

Communication & Updates: Regular progress updates (every 3–4 days) are expected, with clear communication via Freelancer chat.

Selection Criteria: Preference will be given to freelancers who can demonstrate previous work on Progressive Web Apps, financial calculators, or business tools. Please include relevant examples in your bid." (client-provided description)
