Project description:
"Project Description:
We urgently need help restoring our RFID label printing process after a system crash.
Background:
We acquired a company that used Legitronic by Weber Packaging for RFID and compliance label printing.
The old XP-based machine crashed, and the Microsoft Access database that Legitronic relied on is no longer available.
We still have all the .LBL label design files, but they cannot be used without the missing database.
A new RFID-capable printer with the latest version of Legitronic is already on order.
What we need:
Rebuild or recreate the database so our existing .LBL files can be used again.
Configure the new RFID printer once received, ensuring it can both encode and verify/scans RFID labels.
Ensure our team can input/update label data (asset tags, identification labels, compliance/warning labels, etc.) and print immediately.
Fast turnaround is critical as we are nearly out of usable labels.
Ideal Freelancer Skills:
Experience with Legitronic / Weber Packaging labeling software.
Knowledge of Microsoft Access databases and their integration with label files.
Hands-on experience with RFID-capable label printers (setup, encoding, verification).
Understanding of compliance and safety labeling requirements.
Summary:
This is not a design-only job. We already have the label files. We need someone who can restore the printing workflow, configure the new RFID printer, and make sure we are able to print and verify RFID-enabled labels again." (client-provided description)
