"I’m purchasing the premium version of the Weather Effect plugin ([login to view URL]) and need two custom tweaks added to fit my site’s flow.

1. Page-specific display
The animation should only appear on the Home page. All other pages must load without the plugin’s scripts or styles so there’s no performance hit or visual carry-over. Also, before doing this on the home page, we want to be able to view it on a Test page first. So that we can check before making it go live.

2. Loop-length timer
I want to control the duration of each animation loop from the plugin settings—e.g., set it to run 10 seconds per loop rather than simply starting and stopping at fixed times. If the plugin already exposes a loop value in code, surface it in the admin; if not, add a clean settings field that saves to the database and is upgrade-safe.

Deliverables
• Child-theme or standalone mini-plugin that hooks into Weather Effect, leaving core files untouched
• Admin-area controls for “Display only on Home” and “Loop Duration (seconds)”
• Clear, commented code and a brief read-me so I can reapply the tweak after future plugin updates

Acceptance
When I enable the feature, the effect runs only on the specified page for the set duration; when I disable it, the site behaves exactly as stock. No console errors, CLS issues, or extra HTTP requests on non-home pages." (client-provided description)
