"I run a Squarespace site that sells an annual membership to individual consumers and I need a straightforward way to automate the billing. Here is the flow I’m after:

• Visitors sign up at any time during the year, entering card details without being charged immediately.
• All stored cards are run in one batch on January 1st.
• The charge is triggered only if a preset minimum subscriber count has been reached; otherwise no one is billed and cards remain untouched.
• Everything must sit cleanly inside my current Squarespace site—no trial period, no additional user portals, just a seamless overlay or embed that feels native.

I’m open to clever use of Stripe, Memberstack, custom code injected via Code Blocks, or any other lightweight tool you recommend, as long as I can manage it easily once it’s in place. Clear, documented hand-off is important so I can update copy, pricing, or the subscriber-count threshold without calling a developer each time.

Acceptance criteria
1. Secure checkout embedded in Squarespace that captures but does not immediately settle payments.
2. Automated January 1 charge with the ability for me to change the date if needed.
