Project description:
"I need an application that merges solid payroll handling with full-scale accounting. The core objective is comprehensive accounting, so every decision—from database design through UI—has to support a clean general ledger, double-entry bookkeeping and audit-ready statements.

Payroll must feel seamless inside that system. The app has to calculate and release both fixed salaries and hourly wages, generate payslips, and post the related journal entries automatically so I never have to reconcile payroll by hand again.

On the accounting side, the single non-negotiable feature is robust financial reporting. Balance sheet, P&L, and cash-flow statements should update in real time as each payroll run or manual entry lands in the books. Drill-downs, export to Excel/CSV, and period comparisons are expected.

I’m not flexible on tech stack—php (with modern framework), MySQL.
