"I’m building an app whose core appeal should feel social from the very first tap. The one feature I need you to deliver right now is a smooth, reliable messaging layer focused on plain text chats—think fast load times, instant delivery receipts, and a clean, familiar chat interface.

Everything you create has to slot neatly into the existing code-base without breaking current screens. You can choose the framework or libraries you’re most comfortable with; just make sure they are well-maintained and easy for another developer to pick up later.

While today’s scope is strictly text messages, I’d like the architecture left flexible enough that voice or video messages could be added down the road. Make that future extension painless, and you’ll earn bonus points with me.
