"I have a finished piece of application software used in a homeschooling context and I now need it wrapped into a single, clean .exe installer. My immediate priority is flawless operation on Windows 11, but I’d like the build to remain backward-compatible with older versions—think Windows 10, 8 and even 7—so please keep legacy libraries or conditional installers in mind.

The scope is straightforward: take the current package, compile or bundle every dependency, and deliver a signed executable that a parent or student can double-click and install without extra prompts. Whether you prefer NSIS, Inno Setup, InstallShield, or another reliable packaging tool is up to you, as long as the final result:

• installs smoothly on Windows 11 out of the box
• passes a quick run-through on at least one machine each for Win 10, 8, and 7
• places shortcuts and any required runtime files in the correct locations
• includes an uninstall option in the Control Panel/Settings app
