"I need a small, clean web application that demonstrates how a meetup-style event can handle both attendee registration and a simple single-choice poll. The focus is on functionality over polish, so clear, well-structured code and a brief setup guide matter more than pixel-perfect UI.

Core flow
• Visitors create an account, confirm email (a stub or console confirmation is fine), and log in.
• Once authenticated they can see the event schedule laid out by day and time.
• After exploring the schedule, they are prompted to answer one single-choice poll question (e.g., “Which talk are you most excited about?”). Each user may vote only once, and the aggregate results should display immediately.

Tech requirements
I’m flexible on the stack; a lightweight combination such as Node.js + Express + SQLite + simple React/Vanilla JS front end is perfect, but if you prefer another mainstream framework let me know in your proposal. Keep dependencies minimal and use only open-source libraries.

Deliverables
• Source code in a public or zipped repository
• README with setup instructions (install, migrate, run, seed)
• SQL or migration files to reproduce the schema
• Brief note explaining where to modify the poll question and schedule data

Acceptance criteria
1. User sign-up, login, and logout work end-to-end.
2. Schedule renders from database or JSON seed.
3. Single-choice poll enforces one vote per authenticated user and shows live counts.
4. Clean code, separated into modules/controllers/components as appropriate, passes lint/tests if included, and runs locally with one command.
