"I’m building a website from the ground up in pure PHP—no CMS, no frameworks—so everything stays lightweight, secure, and fully under my control. The core of the project is a solid user authentication system tied to a well-structured database layer. Registration, login, password reset, and role-based access need to run smoothly, backed by clean, documented code.

To keep future features easy to extend, I’d like the database interactions wrapped in simple classes (PDO preferred) and organized using clear MVC-style separation, even though we’re not on a formal framework. Expect MySQL for the data store; migrations or setup scripts should be included so I can spin the site up on another server without manual SQL tweaks.
