"My sports-gaming site processes all bets and in-game payments in Brazilian Real, yet most of my players top-up in Bangladeshi Taka. I need a seamless currency converter placed directly on the deposit page so that, the moment a user enters an amount in BDT, the system fetches the live rate from Open Exchange Rates, shows the exact BRL value to the player, and then stores the transaction in BRL.

Key points you’ll handle:
• Integrate the Open Exchange Rates REST API with my existing PHP/Laravel deposit module (JS front-end).
• Display the fetched BDT→BRL rate and converted amount in real-time before the user confirms the deposit.
• On form submission, record only the BRL value in the database while saving the rate used for audit.
• Basic fallback logic if the API call fails (e.g., retry or friendly error message).
