"I need a seasoned IBKR API developer who can jump straight into Python and deliver a production-ready toolkit that does three things right out of the gate: fetch real-time and historical market data, place and manage a variety of orders, and expose the full range of account information (balances, positions, margin, activity).

The workflow I have in mind is simple: I start Trader Workstation or IB Gateway, run your Python package, and interact with well-documented functions that wrap the official ibapi (ib_insync is fine if you prefer). Calls should be non-blocking, handle reconnects, and surface clear exceptions so I can slot the code into a larger trading system without surprises.

Deliverables
• Clean, modular Python code (PEP-8 compliant)
• Quick-start script that demonstrates data fetch, order submission, and account snapshot
• README covering setup, dependencies, and example calls
• Brief hand-off session to walk through the code
