"Our education company needs a browser-based accounting program whose single, clear purpose is to track every cent that comes in and goes out. The system must let us log income from tuition, books, and grants, capture expenses down to invoice level, and generate at-a-glance dashboards that show cash flow by day, week, and term.

Core functions
• Secure user login with role-based permissions for finance staff and branch managers
• Fast entry screens for revenues and expenses, including bulk CSV import
• Customisable categories so we can segment costs by subject, campus, or project
• Real-time balance and variance summaries, plus exportable PDF/CSV reports

Tech & access
The program must run entirely in the browser—no desktop install—so a modern web stack (Laravel, Django, Node.js, Rails or comparable) with a responsive interface is expected. It should play nicely with Chrome, Edge, and Safari, and be deployable on our existing cloud VPS.
