"My custom-built WordPress plugin started acting oddly in the admin area right after the latest update was deployed. There are no error messages or slowdowns; the problem is pure unexpected behavior—settings don’t save consistently and some buttons trigger the wrong actions.

I need a developer who can reverse-engineer the recent changes, isolate the exact cause inside the backend code, and supply a clean, well-commented fix that works on a standard LAMP stack running the current WordPress version. You’ll have access to a staging site plus the Git repo so you can test without touching production.

Deliverable: a patched version (or targeted pull request) that restores normal behaviour, along with a brief summary of what went wrong and why the solution is stable for future updates.
