"I need a web-based platform that lets me centralise every piece of alternative-investment information I handle, then work with it as easily as I work with a CRM. The core of the build is a structured data layer: clean input forms, field-level validation, and the ability to import historical records in bulk. Once the data is in, I want to slice through it quickly with advanced search and multi-column filters, then store common queries for one-click recall.

Automation matters. Scheduled or API-triggered jobs should refresh price feeds, valuations, and any other periodic figures so the data set stays current without manual uploads. On the front end I need dynamic dashboards that highlight performance trends and surface risk metrics in real time; profit and loss graphs are nice to have later, but performance tracking and risk analysis are the must-haves right now.

Think of it as a lightweight CRM layered on top: I’ll need contact and deal tracking tied directly to each investment entry, plus notes, document attachments, and simple reminders.
