"I need a cross-platform mobile application that ties seamlessly into my existing PHP/Laravel website. Whether you prefer Flutter or React Native is up to you; what matters most is that the app can add to, read from, and continuously stay in sync with our current database.

Pre Requisites for developing the mobile app
a) Development in Flutter or React Native for Cross platform development (we don’t want Kotlin) and corresponding API endpoint with our website database.
b) No use of Google play services, GMS-dependent packages (e.g., Firebase SDK) so as to enable the deployment of app on customized ROMs also. We will test this via Exodus app.
c) The app must be able to run on Android 15 and IOS 18.4.1.

App development for existing website database
Developers are requested to familiarize themselves with our website (will be disclosed separately) before proceeding with requirements to development of Mobile App for the same.
We would be requiring a signed copy of IP agreement drafted by us, draft would be shared with you before start of contract. Signed copy (Along with developers PAN copy) would be required by us before concluding the contract to register the agreement at Chandigarh.

Features/Working of app
a) The app does not need any permission to access the SMS, Calls, Microphone, Media, Camera, calendar, body sensor or location. It will send one notification in a day (at 07.00 PM local time. Local time to be detected based on country code of mobile number and not location access). There is no paid version so no integration of payment gateway/subscription. The app will seek access of Galllery/Media only when the user clicks on export function and generates a excel file to be downloaded.
b) However, app may require clipboard access (Copied data) and device information (model, OS).
c) The app would simply allow user to login and enter data. App should be able to pull data/sync from website user database. It must also be able to show the bubble suggestion as shown in website.
d) Every option available in our website should be accessible via mobile app too. Look and feel of website should be tried to match in the app but not giving a browser window type of experience.

Before Awarding of Contract
We would first like to have atleast 2-3 pages designed for our app so that we can see that developer has got our idea. As our website is already in place this should not be difficult. Once we are convinced after seeing your draft app, that you can execute the project then only we will award the project/Hire the freelancer. Companies/Developers demanding awarding of contract first, before showing in development of idea/style need not apply.

This would be fixed price contract and not on hourly basis.
Also the access required by developer (Specific folders of website or backend php database etc) should be told to us beforehand.

After awarding of contract/Payment terms
Payment Terms I would not pay any advance. All the corrections in the app would be done at your server and we will see/access it online. Once we are satisfied that entire app has been built according to our need (as seen on your server and no codes transferred till this stage) then only we will make 40% of the payment and ask for code to make the app live on playstore/apple app store. Immediately when the app is live (in no objections from Google/Apple) we will release next 40% of payment. After testing app for few days and getting all bugs resolved, we will release balance 20% of the payment.

Please devote time on quote only if contract awarding terms suit you
App will be published in playstore in our name. Developer Account fee (to google and apple) will be paid by us and need not be included in your quote.


Other Details

a) Our website uses API from [login to view URL] for sending OTPs and the same may be required to be integrated in app also.
b) Existing password saving at our website portal is hashed. The same encryption would be required for the app. App must be able to fetch user details from website.
c) After first entry via password, app should allow logging in via biometric authentication/password/pin of mobile.
d) All copyrights remain with us. No reference to developer will be made on our app/website. However, developer may showcase this work in his portfolio at his platform.
e) Any suggestions for improvement in our website (Laravel code or database structure) is most welcome.
