"I run an e-commerce site and Google PageSpeed Insights keeps flagging poor performance on mobile. Largest Contentful Paint and the Speed Index stay stubbornly in the red no matter which page I test—homepage, category listings, product details, cart, or checkout. I’d like a specialist who can dig in, identify the bottlenecks, and implement sustainable optimisations that push those two metrics into the green

My benchmark tool is Google PageSpeed Insights, so any change you make needs to show clear wins there. You’re free to bring additional tooling (Lighthouse, WebPageTest, webpack bundle analysers, etc.) as long as the final numbers on PSI reflect the improvement.

Deliverables
• Performance audit highlighting key LCP and Speed Index issues
• Implemented fixes (code, config, or asset-level) deployed to staging then production
• Before/after PSI reports for at least the homepage, one product page, and the checkout flow
• A concise hand-off note so my dev team can maintain the gains

Acceptance criteria
LCP consistently ≤ 2.5 s and Speed Index in the green zone on 4G emulation across the tested pages, measured in Google PageSpeed Insights.
