Project description:
"I’m commissioning a cross-platform training game that faithfully recreates dinner service in an upscale restaurant. The end user will step onto a 3-D dining-room floor rendered with realistic graphics, hold real-time conversations with AI guests, and move through increasingly hectic shifts that mirror the pressure of a fully booked Friday night.
Core experience
• Realistic first-person or over-the-shoulder play, complete with interactive dialogue trees.
• Dynamic floor plan and table numbering pulled from the actual CAD/PDF files I’ll provide. These files, along with our constantly changing food-and-beverage menus, must be swappable through an in-game download/upload panel so managers can update content without touching code.
• Full POS workflow: entering items, firing courses, printing/splitting checks, cash/credit reconciliation, and common modifiers. I have access to our POS API and will supply sample payloads; you just have to wire the calls in.
• Graduated difficulty: quiet weekday lunch, standard dinner rush, and “all-out chaos” scenarios that force players to juggle large parties, VIP requests, and bar orders simultaneously. Performance metrics (ticket time, upsells, comped items, guest satisfaction) should appear on a post-shift report card.
Target builds
• PC (Windows/macOS), iOS & Android phones/tablets, plus one current-gen console. I’m open to Unity or Unreal—whichever lets us keep one code base and high-fidelity visuals across devices.
Deliverables
1. Playable vertical slice proving menu download, floor-plan import, and POS entry.
2. Complete Level-1-to-Chaos campaign with AI routines and voice-over placeholders.
3. Admin dashboard for asset swaps and basic analytics export (CSV or JSON).
4. Final builds signed, tested, and store-ready for the above platforms, with source.
Acceptance criteria will be a successful shift that can:
• Load my sample menu and layout on first run.
• Process a five-course order through the POS mock API without error.
• Hit 60 fps on PC and 30 fps on mid-range mobile with all features active.
If this scope fits your skill set, let’s talk timeline and milestone structure." (client-provided description)
