"I have an educational web app called TutorConnect, built with Next.js.
The UI/Frontend is fully complete, but it currently runs on static dummy data.
I need a skilled Firebase developer to connect the app to a live backend — enabling real authentication, Firestore data, file storage, and server-side functions.

Goals:

Convert the existing static UI into a production-ready Firebase-powered platform with real data, authentication, and functional dashboards for:

Students

Tutors

Admins

Tech Stack:

Tasks for the Freelancer:

Initialize Firebase project

Configure Authentication, Firestore, Storage, and Functions

Set up environment configs and SDK integration

Implement Authentication

Email/Password + Google OAuth

Separate signup flows for students and tutors

Store user profiles in Firestore with roles

Connect Firestore

Create and manage collections:

users, tutors, students, courses, sessions, assignments, events, referrals, financials

Replace static data with real Firestore reads/writes

File Handling

Connect assignment uploads and shared files to Firebase Storage

AI Flows Integration

Wire up existing Genkit flows (assignment-creator, project-assessor, etc.) with Firestore data

Cloud Functions

Implement booking logic, notifications, and automated email flows

Deployment

Deploy app on Firebase Hosting

Ensure all environment variables are properly set up
