Project description:
"We are the marketing division of a consulting company, and we are looking to develop a professional website application that will be used internally to evaluate the financial viability of consulting and IT projects.
The goal of the tool is simple: managers should be able to test different “what-if” scenarios before starting a project and instantly see whether it will be profitable. The application can follow our existing Figma mockup, although it is not mandatory.

How the Application Should Work
Managers begin by entering the expected project duration in days and then select which consultants will be assigned to the project. The system should automatically calculate total project costs and compare them with a proposed sales price to show profitability and margin.

There are initially four consultant roles, each with its own annual salary (variable cost) and fixed cost:
Strategy Consultant (€27,000/year + €500 fixed)
Senior Strategy Consultant (€40,000/year + €1,000 fixed)
IT Consultant (€24,000/year + €500 fixed)
Senior IT Consultant (€37,000/year + €1,000 fixed)


The daily cost for each role is the annual salary divided by 220 working days. Based on how many consultants are assigned and for how many days, the total cost per role should be calculated as:
(Daily cost × number of days × number of consultants) + (Fixed cost × number of consultants).

All roles are then added together to obtain the total project cost. After entering a potential sales price, the app will automatically show revenues, total costs, profit (revenues minus costs), and profitability margin ((revenues – costs) / revenues × 100).

Additional Features and Functionality
Consultant Management: Consultant rates must be editable. Users should be able to delete existing roles or create new ones directly within the app.

Saving Projects: Managers should be able to save project scenarios, view them later, make edits, or delete them.

Export Options: Results must be exportable to Excel (.xlsx) or PDF, both for single projects and for the full list of saved projects.

User Access: The app must be hosted online and accessible through a simple login (for example, username: “test”, password: “test”). Complex user management is not required.

Interface and Experience: The UI/UX should be professional, clean, and easy to navigate. Since the app will be used by management, usability and layout clarity are very important.

Responsiveness: The design must display correctly on both desktop and tablet devices.


Timeline and Budget
Deadline: 10 days

Budget: €40 total

Payment will be divided into two equal milestones: €20 upon delivery of a working prototype (including duration input, consultant management, and cost calculations).
€20 upon final delivery of the complete application (profitability analysis, export feature, login system, and finalized UI/UX).


Developer Requirements
We are looking for a developer with experience building modern web applications, ideally with knowledge of financial or business calculators, and the ability to deliver a clean, responsive, and accurate tool. Familiarity with Figma-based design implementation and export functions (Excel, PDF) will be highly valued.

Accuracy and attention to detail are crucial — this application will be used to support real business decisions, so the calculations must be correct and the interface reliable.


Terms and Conditions
Ownership: Once final payment is made, all source code, design, and deliverables become the exclusive property of our company. The freelancer may not reuse or resell any part of the code.

Payments: Two milestones of €20 each; no upfront payments.

Revisions: Reasonable revisions will be expected until the application fully matches the described requirements. Major changes beyond this scope may require additional compensation.


Deadline: The final product must be delivered within 10 days unless otherwise agreed. Any delay should be communicated in advance.

Quality Assurance: The freelancer must ensure that all formulas are correct and that the interface functions smoothly on different devices and browsers.

Support: Basic support should be provided for setup, hosting, and usage instructions after delivery.


Communication and Evaluation
We expect clear communication and progress updates every few days via Freelancer chat. Preference will be given to freelancers who can demonstrate previous experience with business or financial tools, export features, or responsive web apps.
