Project description:
"This project centres on a native iOS app that performs synchronous, real-time translation from Hebrew to English. The experience must be as seamless as possible: users speak or type in Hebrew and receive an almost-instant written reply in English. It would be ideal if possible to switch back-and-forth (i,e., English to Hebrew) if not much more work. I would like to operative on my MacBook (microphone) and maybe iPhone if feasible. Memory function (text only) can be turned on and off.

Core scope
• Voice input/output: continuous speech capture, speech-to-text, translation, and text-to-speech playback with minimal latency.
• Text input/output: bidirectional typing with immediate on-screen translations, respecting right-to-left Hebrew layout.
• Real-time translation: end-to-end delay not exceeding two seconds on a current iPhone.

Deliverables
1. Xcode project (Swift or SwiftUI) that compiles cleanly and is structured for future language additions.
2. Tested build ready for TestFlight distribution.
3. Clear README detailing chosen speech-recognition and translation services (Google, AWS, Microsoft, or comparable), setup steps, and API keys placeholders.
4. Brief latency and accuracy report generated during final QA.

Acceptance criteria
• Accurate Hebrew diacritics rendering and correct English punctuation.
• Stable performance during a five-minute continuous conversation test.
• Source code fully documented and handed over in a Git repository.
