Project description:
"I currently manage eight custom-built sites split between GoDaddy and Bluehost. Several of them are completely offline—they simply do not resolve on the internet. You’ll receive full panel / SSH credentials for both hosts so you can work directly, with zero need to contact their support teams.
First phase
Your initial objective is to bring every domain back online. From experience I know this will involve re-uploading the site files, fixing DNS records, and—where necessary—restoring clean backups. Once each site loads correctly you’ll confirm that all internal links, graphics, and forms behave exactly as they did before the outage.
Ongoing phase
After the rescue work I want periodic monitoring: quick health checks, prompt patching when a host makes server-side changes, and a fast response if uptime alerts ever trigger. I’m on macOS, but you’re free to use whatever toolchain you prefer as long as the end-result is a stable set of production servers.
Deliverables
• All offline domains back online, publicly reachable, and passing basic functionality tests
• Updated DNS and host settings documented so I can trace any future changes
• A simple maintenance plan outlining how you’ll keep an eye on uptime and which alerts you’ll set up
If you have deep, hands-on experience with custom codebases, cPanel/WHM, DNS propagation, and remote troubleshooting, you’ll feel right at home here." (client-provided description)
