"I need a Max for Live device that can randomise, preview, and load audio samples from any user-defined folder or NAS directly into Ableton Live 11. It’s built for professional musicians, so fast loading is non-negotiable even with huge libraries.

The core features must be baked in:
• Recursive scan with smart caching so new files are indexed in the background.
• A clean, accurate waveform preview right in the device.
• An optional subfolder / genre filter the user can toggle on demand.

Next, Preview, and Load buttons should feel instant and the target track or clip slot must be user-configurable. The device has to remember folder choices between sessions and update its cache without manual rescanning.

Deliverables:
1. Fully functional .amxd file.
2. A concise PDF covering installation, preferences, and workflow tips.
3. Thirty days of post-delivery email support.

Timeline is tight: a working demo by Day 7, final build by Day 14. This is a work-for-hire project under a mutual NDA; I’ll share the document on award.
