"Integrated Alpha System for Electrical Stimulation and Skin-Contact Sensor Interface

This project aims to deliver a fully integrated alpha system that combines three key components into a synchronized ecosystem: (1) an electrical stimulation module, (2) a skin-contact sensor unit, and (3) a cross-platform control application comprising an Android app and a secure cloud server.

Current Status and Scope:

A) The existing stimulation hardware already generates stable multi-phase waveforms but requires refinement in output regulation, sensing precision, and voltage compliance. The firmware will be updated to strengthen safety interlocks, closed-loop feedback, and wireless communication, ensuring robust interaction with the companion application. Hardware improvements will focus on enhanced current sensing, protection circuitry, and calibration for consistent and reliable performance.
B) The skin-contact sensor unit is currently being developed in a parallel project. Within this project, the focus will be on firmware updates and seamless integration into the shared platform to enable real-time physiological feedback and synchronized data exchange.
C) The mobile application will be expanded to manage both hardware modules, harmonize data streams, and securely transmit telemetry to the backend server for processing and visualization. The system will be designed to maintain alignment across firmware, app, and server layers—supporting unified session control, live monitoring, and structured data management.
