"I need an expert GridView in a VB ASP.NET application

• The Grid is the same as that located in…. It is to comprise a Parent Node and a Child Node.
o These are the only Columns to be visible. All the other Columns are to be "hidden:"

- Column Name: COL_1588850112. Header Name: [Carrier Names]
- Column Name: COL_1411001752. Header Name: [SCAC Codes]
- Column Name: COL_1021574092. Header Name: [Modes]
- Column Name: COL_1994957888. Header Name: [EDI-204]
- Column Name: COL_1859797507. Header Name: [EDI-210]
- Column Name: COL_1469284507. Header Name: [EDI-214]
- Column Name: COL_1281788299. Header Name: [EDI-240]
o The first Column in the Child Node is to be a Column entitled "Delete". The forecolor is to be "darkgreen."
- If the value for any of the following Columns equals "PROD" or "TEST," the "Delete" hyperlink for the
correlating row is to be disabled and have a "strikethrough" placed across it:

o Column entitled "COL_1411001752." does not equal "UPSN," the correlating Cell in the Column entitled
"COL_1281788299" is to be disabled.
o In the Child Node, there is to be a filter above the Column entitled "COL_1411001752."
- It is to only allow alphanumeric values. The maximum length is 5. No spacing.
- When executed, the look-up is done by passing the parameter to the StoredProcedure entitled "."
o On the Upper Left of the Grid, there are to be two hyperlinks: "EDI-850 | Add a Carrier"
o The default color for both hyperlinks is to be "darkgreen."
o For the hyperlink entitled "EDI-850," if the value in the Column entitled "COL_1192214154" equals "NOPR", the
forecolor of the hyperlink is to be: "darkred." Hex Code: #8B0000
o For the hyperlink entitled "EDI-850," if the value in the Column entitled "COL_1192214154" will be the same for all
rows. You may simply select the value from the first row to determine the appropriate color for the hyperlink.
o For the hyperlink entitled "EDI-850," if the value in the Column entitled "COL_1192214154" equals "PROD", the
forecolor of the hyperlink is to be: "darkgreen."
• The functionalities of the hyperlinks will be implemented after the operations of the grid are established.
• The following columns are to have cells that are hyperlinks.

• We need to create the illusion that when the cell is clicked, it appears to “move/depress” like a Toggle Button (see
[login to view URL]).
• The text value in the hyperlink cells is to be of the same color as the forecolor which is contingent on the value of the
cell.
• Listed below are the Cell values for the following Columns:
- Cell Value: "PROD"

2. The Selection Criteria overlay
• Do not execute "exec spFileTransferUtilityParameters." Comment out all codes which execute it.
• The "Selection Criteria" overlay is to be eliminated altogether.
• When "File Transfer Utility" is clicked and the user has access (there is code in the .Net to do that):
- The grid simply appears as if "Process" was clicked in the overlay (same code to be executed). The same is to be
true when "Refresh" is clicked.
- Note, comment out all codes where "spSelectionCriteriaCostCenterGrid" is executed, the grid for the overlay loads
and the overlay is displayed.
