1. Project Overview
Hydrosource Direct is a consumer-focused water treatment brand that offers professional-grade, high-performance residential water softeners, filters, and accessories. We are seeking a freelance web designer/developer to create a clean, high-converting, mobile-friendly website that highlights our product offerings and provides a seamless user experience for both desktop and mobile visitors.
2. Scope of Work
The freelancer will be responsible for designing and building a Phase 1 MVP website focused on product discovery and lead generation, not e-commerce (yet).
Key Requirements:
A. Design
- Clean, modern layout with emphasis on product visuals and value propositions
- Incorporation of our existing logo and high-resolution product images
- Bold headline styles and short supporting text
- Consistent use of brand colors and fonts
- Easily editable master file for future use (AI or layered PSD)
B. Pages
1. Homepage
- Hero image with tagline
- Introductory product summary
- Call-to-Action (CTA) buttons (e.g. “Request a Quote”, “Learn More”)
- Trust-building section (e.g., badges, warranty, Made in USA)

2. Product Pages (Initial 1-3 pages)
- Overview of product line (e.g., PRO Series Water Softener)
- Features, specs, and media
- Contact / Inquiry form

3. About Page
- Company mission
- Made in USA messaging
- Manufacturing highlights

4. Contact Page
- Lead capture form
- Address & phone
- Google Maps integration (optional)
C. Functionality
- Mobile-responsive design

- Editable CMS (WordPress preferred, but open to Webflow or similar)

- Embedded lead capture/contact forms (no e-commerce at this stage)
3. Deliverables

- Exportable and editable design files (AI, PDF, and EPS)
- Documentation for editing content & uploading new products
- Final deployment to our host or recommended platform
- Suggested plugins (if WordPress is used)
